Vice President of Strategic Accounts, Besse Medical
Kevin is Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Besse Medical, an AmerisourceBergen company. Besse Medical is focused on the distribution of pharmaceuticals and related products to community primary care and specialty (outside oncology) physician practices and clinics and surgery centers throughout the United States.
Kevin is responsible for developing our large customer opportunities and group purchasing organization relationships. He also negotiates contracts with both health system and private-equity backed customers. He is the primary contact for Besse from a senior sales perspective between our parent company and sister divisions cross collaborative sales opportunities.
Kevin started his career with our organization when he joined Bergen Brunswig Medical as Director of Alternate Site Business Development in 1996. He was later appointed Regional Vice President and Vice President of National Accounts, responsible for sales and operations for seven distribution centers in the Southeast. Kevin is now Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Besse Medical and is a member of the lead team.
Prior to joining AmerisourceBergen, his background included sales and operations experience at a retail pharmacy, a large integrated health network and a national group purchasing organization.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of South Carolina.
