To our community of partners and healthcare providers,

Calm. Decisive. Compassionate. Fact-based. Customer-focused.

Those are just a handful of descriptions that come to mind when I think about the AmerisourceBergen team over the last few weeks. The COVID-19 pandemic is testing many of our societal systems, but we remain steadfast in our commitment to our partners in healthcare and focused on our purpose—we are united in our responsibility to create healthier futures.

Right now, the way we create a healthier future is by practicing social distancing where possible and continuing to protect and maintain the integrity of the global pharmaceutical supply chain.

We are channeling all of our energy and support to ensure the operation of critical facilities and the health and safety of our colleagues who work in them — from obtaining and deploying the latest protective and sanitizing equipment to enhanced cleaning procedures — while strongly encouraging associates who can work remotely to do so.

• Our distribution center and depot teams continue to fill orders so that hospitals, physicians, pharmacies and veterinarians have access to treatments and supplies to serve their patients;
• Our clinical nursing teams in Canada continue to administer treatments for patients—and now they do so in enhanced PPE;
• Our pharmacy teams continue to fill customer orders so that patients can stay adherent to their medications; and
• Our global network of World Courier drivers continue to deliver clinical trial therapies and pharmaceuticals to providers and patients.

Our operations are able to continue because of the individuals who understand the tremendous responsibility that we have to serve all of you.

As always, our sourcing teams continue to closely monitor the supply chain for potential impacts. In order to maintain support for current and future COVID-19 patient treatment, we have proactively increased inventory on products for acute care providers, as well as essential medicines in other classes.

The area of COVID-19 treatment remains a large focus area for us all, and we are staying on top of developments and working to be proactive as possible in relation to product availability by continuing to engage our manufacturing partners.

We want to assure you that we are working diligently and relentlessly to minimize disruption to your business and to protect your team and ours.
